Omaha Steaks at the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival
February has arrived and the Omaha Steaks team is in Miami helping to prepare for Moët Hennessy’s The Q, which is the signature kick-off party at the Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) presented by FOOD & WINE. This is our first year as the presenting sponsor of Moët Hennessy’s The Q and we are excited to be participating.
Omaha Steaks Executive Chef, Karl Marsh has been here in Miami all week preparing for the event, where he will be serving our signature Beef Tenderloin in a Korean BBQ, alongside stir-fried Bok Choy. Karl will be joined by 40 of the top BBQ chefs from across the country, who will be grilling up dishes featuring Omaha Steaks beef, lamb, pork and poultry for guests to enjoy. New to Moët Hennessy’s The Q this year will be the Omaha Steaks Culinary Excellence Award competition to recognize the outstanding beef recipe. Celebrity Chefs Rocco DiSpirito and Pat & Gina Neelywill join Omaha Steaks fifth-generation family owner, Todd Simon, in our booth as judges to help select the winner. The winning chef will receive this prestigious award from Omaha Steaks, along with the bragging rights, and a scholarship will be established in the chef’s name at Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management. We are proud to be a sponsor of this year’s SOBEWFF, which annually raises funds to support the education programs at the Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management and the Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center.
